- Enter information and receive confirmation e-mail
- Verify e-mail address & password (case sensitive)
Select Add Garment and enter garment information, including:
- Select Inspector (optional admin account)
- I.D. – Unique identifier (mandatory) from garment or lead apron tracking tags
- Assigned to
- Manufacturer (mandatory)
- Garment type (mandatory)
- Core material
- Manufacturer date
Import Multiple Garments
Hover over “Add Garments”, select “Import”
- Download the template on the “Import Multiple Aprons” page, fill it out with your current information, and upload it.
- Make any adjustments needed.

How can I add aprons into the database?
Click the ‘aprons’ button located in the toolbar on the homepage. After being brought to the aprons page, click the “add apron” button. Fill in the required fields. When finished, click “add apron” at the bottom of the page.
Do I need to order tracking tags to use Smart Track?
No, you do not need to order tracking tags or a barcode scanner in order to use Smart Track. You can create your own serial numbers and enter them by typing them in. However, purchasing the tracking tags and scanner optimizes Smart Track by helping users search for aprons and retrieve apron information quicker and with 100% accuracy.
How do I document the inspections of my protective garments?
Click on the “aprons” button in the toolbar on the homepage. Scan or type in the barcode serial number of apron you are inspecting in the ‘search to filter aprons” field. When that apron appears on the screen, click the ‘Inspect” button. Click the drop down and select the option that indicates the results of the inspection. If you wish to add notes, click “+show/add notes and type in your notes for that inspection. Click the ‘Complete Inspection” button when finished.
How can I set how often I want to inspect my protective garments?
Click on the “Edit Profile” button in the toolbar. Click either the 6 months option or the 12 months option under the “How often do you inspect your aprons?” question. Here, you can add email addresses to be notified of when inspections should take place. You can also dictate how far in advanced of a due inspection you would like to be notified.
How can I request a quote for replacement aprons?
When you see a failed apron on the dashboard page, you can click the “replace” button to bring up a quote request for the type of apron that you are replacing.
How can I order more tracking tags?
You can request a quote for tags and a barcode scanner by clicking on the “request tags/scanner” button. You can find this button by clicking on the “aprons” button in the toolbar.
How can I change/retrieve my password?
You can change your password by clicking the “edit profile” button on the toolbar and typing in your new password twice. Save all changes. If you forgot your password, you can click “forgot my password” when you are trying to log in. You will be taken through a series of questions and will be sent a temporary password.
How can I run reports that show our inspection statuses?
You can select which type of report you want to run by clicking on the “Reports” button in the toolbar. You can run full apron reports, damaged apron reports, missing apron reports, and single apron reports.
How do I attach a barcode to my aprons that I have in stock?
You use the applicator that is shipped initially with the tags. Insert the backing retainer into the bottom slot of the applicator. Then insert a single tag into the orange indent on the top of the applicator, make sure that it sticks in place. Place the seam of the garment in between the top and bottom of the applicator and press firmly down. Twist the red knob on the top until you hear a pop and the tag is fully twisted into the retainer. Remove the garment from the applicator.
When filling out the spreadsheet to add multiple aprons, which fields are mandatory?
The only mandatory fields are the manufacturer and the garment type, all other fields can be added later or not added at all.
